AMY RICHARDSON, MBA, PMP | President & CEO
Amy received both her Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in accounting, from James M. Hull College of Business at Augusta University. Following the completion of her MBA, she was with the business school as their Business Engagement Coordinator where she served as a liaison and representative of the College for over 3 years. During that time, she managed business engagement, alumni relations, event management, community engagement in the classroom, external relations, BBA and MBA recruitment, and brand management for the College. During her undergraduate studies, she completed a variety of internships in accounting, internal audit, and costing. Prior to completing her advanced degrees, she managed in the hospitality industry, specifically food and beverage, for over 6 years. Amy volunteers on the board of her local Business Networking International (BNI) chapter where she serves other local businesses, is also a Chapter Success Coach for the Augusta Region BNI Community, and volunteers on the board of the Augusta-Aiken chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a member of the Board of Trustees and on the planning committee for their annual Professional Development Day (PDD) conference. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), QuickBooks Online Pro Advisor, a Notary Public in the State of Georgia, and a 2023 Leadership Columbia County graduate. She is continuing to support her fellow local leaders by serving on the Leadership Columbia County Steering Committee and Augusta University's Summerville Alumni Association board. Her hobbies include reading, rock/metal concerts, traveling, and spending time with family.
BEN RICHARDSON, MS | Information Technology Director
Ben comes to Richardson Professional Solutions with a broad range of experience from multiple industries including financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, and retail. He has a Master of Science in Information Security Management and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Augusta University, as well as several industry certifications including two Scrum Alliance certifications and four LastPass MSP certifications. He has also worked hard over the past year to qualify RPS as a certified Microsoft Partner. With over 15 years of experience, Ben has led IT projects for startups through multinational corporations; from engineering IBM Watson Health to managing Business Intelligence infrastructures at a Fortune 500 bank. With a passion for process improvement, automation, and leveraging IT, Ben strives to meet business goals big or small, and he has the knowledge and experience to help you meet yours! He can help you with everything from outsourcing your IT and/or cyber security to automating processes to ensuring regulatory or legal compliance. Outside of the office, Ben enjoys flying small aircraft as a general aviation private pilot, traveling, spending time with family, and continuing his lifelong search for spicier food.
PAYTON PRATHER, CNP | Sales & Marketing Director
Payton comes to RPS with an experienced background as a Communications Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in private and higher education and as a Community Relations Coordinator in the nonprofit industry. She is skilled in Communication/PR, Email Marketing, Social Media, Web Site Management, and Content Design and Creation. Payton received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Art from Augusta University. Payton is a certified Nonprofit Professional, and holds a Social Media certification through the Hubspot Academy. Payton enjoys spending time with her family, especially camping!
FANCY PETERSON | Lead Bookkeeper
Born and raised in Harlem, Georgia a one red light small town west of Augusta, Fancy graduated from Brenau University with a degree in Business Management. She has extensive experience in HR, management, and finance. Her passion is women’s ministry and empowering and encouraging wives and moms! She is married to her wonderful husband, Daniel, and they have two amazing daughters, Bristol and Stevie. They love spending time together as a family and playing board games and card games. She absolutely loves coffee any way she can get it and she loves a good coffee date! Jokingly she tells people if she could have coffee dates everyday for the rest of her life as an occupation she would do it! Fancy is a certified QuickBooks Online Pro Advisor, a Notary Public in the State of Georgia, and a 2023 Leadership Columbia County graduate.
BRIDGET MACIOROWSKI | Bookkeeper
Bridget comes to RPS with a broad range of experience across multiple industries, including retail, customer service, marketing, event planning, business analytics, payroll and payroll taxes. With this experience, she also has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and her Fundamental Payroll Certification with the American Payroll Association. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outside, being a princess impersonator, and roller skating. Bridget is a certified QuickBooks Online Pro Advisor.
DEBRA OLIVER | Bookkeeping Assistant
Debra comes to RPS with a BA in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration Management. She has worked with personal, private, and commercial clients as well as municipalities across the government sector. Debra’s primary responsibilities include assisting clients with their bookkeeping and back-office needs focused on taking their business to the next level. Her nine years of experience serving as the office manager/legal assistant for a law firm along with four years of Administrative Assistant and bookkeeper experience for a local Inspection company, can attest to her professionalism and effectiveness as a bookkeeper who will deliver on meeting the client’s need. Outside of the office you will find Debra spending time with her husband and their children. As a family they serve the community though the giving of their time and talent of inspiring others. Besides the philanthropic work, she enjoys letting others know that the “Dallas Cowboys” is America’s Team.
BEAR WELMAKER | Marketing Assistant
Bear was raised in Evans, GA and most recently lived in Young Harris, GA where he attended Young Harris College. He later worked as the Outdoor Adventures Coordinator for the school before returning to the Augusta area. Bear has experience working across multiple fields including marketing, outdoor leadership, retail, and project management. Through these experiences he has gained many skills in Social Media, Leadership, Content Creation, Strategic Marketing, and Communication. In his free time Bear enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and hanging out with family and friends.
BRITNEY SEARCY | Executive Assistant
Britney is originally from the Forsyth, GA area where she attended Gordon State College prior to moving to Augusta. Britney has experience in hospitality, retail, and early childhood education. As an assistant, she brings her knack for organization and planning, creativity, and strong communication skills to the team. In her free time Britney enjoys reading, collecting vintage vinyls, and spending time with her family and pets, Duke, Echo, and Sofie.
